An invitation to our Create Festival

You're invited... Monday 6th June            MediaCityUK                                                                                                                 10-4pm – Egg Suite - English and Creative Practice Students. See the work of some of our talented creative writing students and choose which talented writer of young adult fiction should be mentored.  Win a tinned story or a limited edition print and study some of our very short fiction.  There will also be flash fiction on the screens. Come and chat to us about your writing ambitions and much more!    2-9pm – DPL - Creative Writing Showcase for MA and PHD Students. Postgraduate Creative Writing students work at the edges of new and evolving practices. They engage with fundamental issues in the world around us, producing original creative writing in experimental and innovative forms. This showcase offers a snapshot of the range and vibrancy of the work being developed, and will include visual texts and objects as well as live readings and performances.   The highlight of this event will be an e-book launch and reading at 7pm, with refreshments served from 6pm.
